A developmental play-based preschool morning program in a residential home located near Regnart Elementary School in Cupertino, providing an environment of unconditional love and acceptance where children can feel safe to explore, experiment, learn and discover through the process of play.

Class size is limited to 14 children. Student/teacher ratio is one teacher to 7 children.

Morning Program:

Monday through Friday mornings from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. for children from 2 to 5 years of age. Children in diapers or potty-trained are all welcome. Parents may sign up for 2, 3, or 5 mornings per week. Optional extended care is offered from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Summer Programs:

This summer we have three Backyard Fun in the Sun programs:

We will spend time both indoor and outdoor with the following activities: arts and crafts, music/movement, science exploration, cooking, sensory and water play, bubbles, painting, games and more. Each session starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. Parents have the option to enroll their children for one or more programs of 2, 3 or 5 mornings per week. Each participant should bring an extra set of changing clothes. Please dress your child for play - we will get dirty, wet and messy.

This will be a great introductory class for children who will be entering the Play Garden preschool in the Fall.

Why Play Garden?


Each child is like a flower in a garden; everyone is unique and special, and each has his or her own growing timetable. In my "garden" I will dedicate myself with patience and knowledge of child development to help them grow to their fullest. Ultimately I aim to provide the care, love, support, and attention they deserve in their growing years; hence the name "The Play Garden".
